Academy Program
This program was developed as a low pressure, fun environment
for playing soccer at an early age.
There are two levels to this program.
Mini & Junior
Ages 3-6 (ages are guidelines and not strict)
Children are introduced to soccer through a series of fun drills and games, then play a soccer game each week to apply the skills they have learned.
Kids are placed on co-ed teams of 6-10 kids.
Teams are coached by experienced soccer players
Cost $35 ($45 if child does not have uniform shirts)
6 game season with 7 practices
Practices are held on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 at BGSU beginning
(August 31, 2011). Games are held Saturdays 9:00am at BGHS
U8
Ages 6-8 (if child turns 8 after 7/31/2011)
This program ,while maintaining the low pressure, fun environment, introduces a “travel” type team experience. Teams are split into gender and age specific teams for play in the East Suburban Soccer League. Travel is limited to teams in this league (Eastwood, Fremont, Genoa, Lake, Woodmore, and surrounding area).
Cost $60 ($80 if child does not have uniform jersey)
Practices are held Mondays & Thursdays from 5:30-7:00pm at BGSU beginning (August 22, 2011).
